popped out

I popped out quite significantly (tummy wise) today....

Tired. Slow start to the day. But got mostly everything done. Busy and too much on really.
Went to midwife appt today. Baby heartrate is 145bpm and 120/60 is my blood pressure.
All going as planned so far. Keeps pushing for the scans for "problems" (downs etc). I'm not interested, it's not our RIGHT.
Missing her today...

Special Lady

Oh I miss her. I know she is at peace. And in a glorious place/state of being. She is one special lady.

12 ish week scan

Had our first scan, Melissa and Dana came along. It was very special. Baby about 12 weeks. And that's all we wanted to know. I can't fit my clothes. Brought some preggy clothes off trademe. Some nice ones. But I'm lacking in comfy flattering pants.

Got a bit upset this evening, Dan got back from some friends. And they had got talking about the impending arrival. I just get the feeling they all were negative (including Dan). We both want this baby - I dont need any doubts right now when the buns in the oven!

so grateful

...it took me an extra 15 minutes to get dressed! I couldn't decide what to wear, clothes either too big or too small!  Oh my goodness, J came and cleaned today. It's so lovely. I was really excited to come home today knowing it would all be so nice and clean! Hooray!

faint line

So excited.. after all these millions of faint lines... I did a pregnancy test this evening and there is... a faint line! At long last we get to expand our family. So happy and SO excited!

Had Nanna's 80th Birthday Party... I'm so tired, was quite a busy time having this and then having been to school camp with the kids in the week!  It was a great happy family time at the birthday though, a nice surprise for Nanna.  I didn't drink so I was all alert it was amusing watching everyone else drink!
